Assessing Thoracic Rotation For Throwing Athletes
Rotational sport athletes need adequate amounts of thoracic mobility in order to create the necessary hip and shoulder separation needed to transfer force from the lower body during throwing, swinging, and changing direction.
In today’s video series we partner with Pat Suarez from Suarez Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy to discuss assessing and improving thoracic mobility in throwing athletes by looking at side-to-side differences and incorporating three thoracic mobility drills that place minimal stress on the front of your shoulder.
